LIST: Train lines schedule for 2022 Holy Week

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 6)— The country’s railway lines have announced their schedule of operations in observance of the Lenten season and their annual maintenance activities.

The Light Rail Transit-1 (LRT-1) will continue to serve train riders until April 13, with the first train arriving at 4:30 a.m. and the last at 9:15 p.m. (from Baclaran) and 9:30 p.m. (from Balintawak). There will be no operations from April 14-17.

Meanwhile, the LRT-2 and the Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) will be closed from April 13 to 17. Regular operations will resume on April 18.

In a statement, MRT-3 OIC-General Manager and Director Michael Capati asks for understanding from commuters, stressing that the annual maintenance works in the line are important to ensure the system’s quality.

As MRT-3 resumes operations on April 18, the free ride will also continue in line with the recent completion of its rehabilitation.

In its latest advisory, the Philippine National Railways said it will not operate on April 14 to 16. Operations will resume on April 17 at 6:30 a.m.
