TI11 Caster Trent Claims That a Team Imploded at the Event

Dota 2 caster Trent “Trent” MacKenzie recently revealed an interesting story regarding the implosion of a team after their final match together at The International 2022 (TI11). During the off-season, many players have decided to part ways with their old organization in favor of a new challenge for the upcoming competitive season.

While some managed to mutually part ways with their old team without any issues, others might have decided to depart from their old team following infighting or playstyle differences within the team.

Trent noted that it was not OG’s ATF who imploded on stage after their final TI11 match.

During a recent livestream, caster Trent “Trent” MacKenzie shared stories about his journey during The International 2022 (TI11). However, he also revealed a story that he heard from a few reliable sources at the event regarding a team’s implosion.

He started off by saying that following the team’s final match at TI11 on the stage, the player imploded by saying his negative thoughts about his teammates right after the loss.

“And you guys might have heard of this already, so maybe I’m not leaking anything. But I can tell you that when one team played their last match at TI11, a certain player turned towards his teammates and said “You are the most toxic player that I have ever played with and I will never play with you ever again.” on the main stage.”

While the caster reiterated that he was not a direct witness to the incident as he heard about the story from someone else, he also gave a hint on the player involved in the incident. However, he excluded former OG offlaner Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf from the incident as the player was seen as an easy target by the community.

“Let me be clear, I was not a witness to this but I heard it from reliable sources during the event. I can give one clue though. It is not OG [whose player imploded on stage]. I am just saying that because I can see Ammar [ATF] being an easy target due to his toxic behavior. I won’t elaborate on the issue, but I don’t want to see ATF getting unfair criticism because I know everyone is instantly targeting him. It’s not Ammar.”
