National University clobbered University of Sto. Tomas, 73-60, in their Season 84 UAAP men’s basketball match at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday to remain in contention for the Final 4.
Reyland Torres finished with 18 points on the 4-of-7 field-goal shooting and 4 rebounds. Mike Malonzo added 11 markers and 10 boards.
The Bulldogs led by as many as 27 points, especially after a 9-1 scoring barrage at the onset of the fourth quarter.

UST still fought back and unleashed a 19-2 run that cut the deficit to 55-65, 3:31 remaining.

But that was the closest the Growling Tigers could get as the Bulldogs went on to pick up their 5th win in 12 games.
